PS3 to offer past-gen downloads?
Rumour has it that Sony's making plans to have downloadable games, much like the Xbox Live Arcade, but with a twist taken from Nintendo. The system may support downloads of PSone and PS2 games for a low cost. There's also been talk of improved graphics for past-gen games.

I think that the suspension extends into virtual downloads. The question is how would backwards compat work if past-gen tech is illegal?
