Xbox 360 steps up the charity work

Two new promotions to help raise money for the Children's Miracle Network have started by Microsoft. The first promotion is a sale of 5 limited edition buttons ($2 each) every week at Blockbusters across Canada. The designs include images from PDZ, PGR3, Halo 2, Splinter Cell and the old Xbox360.com site. Call your Blockbuster to see which they have.

The second promotion is offering one of a kind celebrity designed faceplates, ranging from Ed the Sock to Tie Domi. All are Canadian celebrities and auctions start today. The faceplates will be on display at Toronto Eaton Centre: March 9-12, Yorkdale Shopping Centre: March 16-19, and Sherway Gardens: March 23-26. Bidding starts March 17th. Go check them out if you're looking for a truly cool faceplate for your 360.
