30 Year Console Priceguide
Curmudgeon Gamer has created a chart that breaksdown console prices over the past 30 years. It's interesting to see that Nintendo's never released a system for more (or less) than $200 and that the highest costing systems (3Do and Neo Geo) were the most technically advanced, but because of their cost failed in the long run. Sound like anything familiar?

oh and may i be the first to say... dreamcast, the best $239 i've ever spent!
I was so sad to see it die. But I never bought one, that may be why. I don't know how, but sonic cried, the day Sega's console legacy died.
