Xbox Live update coming soon

An update for the Xbox 360's dashboard and Live system is currently in the works. J. Allard's crew of video game gurus will release the patch over Xbox Live. No date has been set yet, but the update will feature several enhancements to the service; downloads in the dashboard background, fixing impossible achievements and improving lag problems. The patch will also add video chat, coupled with the launch of the Xbox Vision (Conceptual name) USB webcam.
