DS sells 100,000 units in one week
Dang those Japanese love their touchscreens. Between the DS and the DS Lite Well over 100,000 units sold this week. Compared to every other system combined totaling about 70,000 sold, the Japanese have little time to waste on next-gen gaming or even past-gen gaming for that matter. The rush for the handhelds has been super strong and won't let up. For proof check the video below, they're brawling in the streets to get them!

Nono, look at the Pokemon kid. THAT'S what video games do to people.
And TV shows, merchandise, conventions, it goes on and on...
they could be brawling in the streets for anything, there are no DS's visible in this movie!
