No more boomerangs and grills for Sony

When it was first showcased at E3 last year, the design of the PS3 had some harsh reviews, nay-sayers laughed at it's Australian inspired controllers, obese casing and Spider-Man 2 font. Now however it apears Sony has rushed back to the drawing board to make the PS3 a little sweater on the eyes. At CES 2006 Engadget managed to snag this picture of the PS3 at Sony's booth, a little plackard underneath reading "Conceptual Design". Does this mean Sony's remodelling the system? Only time will tell.
